Bendigo back in action
After a long pre-season, the Bendigo Bombers will play in their first competitive match of the pre-season when they take on the Northern Bullants on Saturday morning at Optus Oval. “We have a list of about 30 guys who will be participating this weekend and only about four or five of them will come from Essendon. The rest will be made up of Bendigo listed players,” Bendigo Bombers football manager David Calthorpe explained.

Family Day a hit with Essendon fans
The Essendon AGL Family Day was in full swing today as more than 4000 fans braved the warm weather at Windy Hill, hoping to grab a glimpse of their favourite Essendon players before the 2006 season begins.
