Welcome to your brand new website!
We have a new season just around the corner and a new captain as well. So why not have a new website to go with it? The BomberLand team has been working hard behind-the-scenes over the past three months to provide you, the fans, with an even better on-line experience.

Brilliant Hird put on ice
Essendon’s intra-club practice match was dominated by a couple of old heads this morning with James Hird one of the standouts along with new recruit Scott Camporeale. Hird did as he liked for much of the game racking up countless possessions. However, Kevin Sheedy suggested after the game it might be the last Bombers fans see of him until the real stuff starts.

All hands on deck
Essendon wants a serious hit-out in this Friday’s twilight exhibition match against Sydney and will give most of its senior players some ground time against the reigning premiers. Matthew Lloyd is a certain starter in the game that starts at 7pm at North Sydney Oval while former captain James Hird has also been named in the squad of 24.
